ABOUT MATT GOMMERSALL
I’m a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University with a strong interest in investment management and wealth management. I enjoy analysing financial data and interacting with clients. Through my studies, including DCF modelling, and involvement in the Lancaster University Investment and Finance Society, I’ve developed strong skills in research, teamwork, and problem-solving. I’m eager to apply these skills in a professional setting.I am currently seeking a placement year in wealth or asset management, where I can contribute, gain hands-on exposure to investment strategies, and deepen my understanding of the industry.Outside of academics, I follow financial news daily and have a growing interest in sustainable investing. Sport also plays a significant role in my life, where I am training with the long-term ambition of becoming an Ironman. I am always open to connect with professionals and peers in the industry!
