Personally - I am a family first man who is actively involved in the lives of my children. From dance, piano, drums, swim meets, volleyball matches or anything and everything between, I find joy in their triumphs and use faith and positivity to offer relief for difficult times. Being a parent has taught me a great deal about leadership, compassion and mentoring. I find often times that I am learning from my children and family on a daily basis. My faith guides me through the challenges of living a family first life, but have found that this has provided a solid center in my life through which I have learned and grown to trust my own worth as a human being.Professionaly, I am a technical leader, which means that I spend my time advocating for my team and rolling up my sleeves as needed to work alongside them. Management and supervisory tasks should be viewed and approached first as an advocate for the team that you have built around you. It is a point of pride that I am surrounded by people who are ambitious and smart and by extension have earned my trust as much as I hope I have earned theirs. Therefore it is my job to ensure that road blocks are addressed and removed so that we succeed together. Too often Managers view their position from the top down, when frankly we should be working for our team diligently to ensure that business needs are met and that our team is represented and taken care of to the best of our ability. Happy teams are productive teams and I am proud of the work I have done with the amazing people I have been blessed to be surrounded by. My worth as a productive contributor to the workforce hinges on the talent around me and the opportunities that I am able to provide for them.

   When you\'re tasked with managing not one but two secure enclave networks, the first rule is: don’t panic—design, rack, configure, and conquer. I led a full redesign of one network from scratch, weaving in SIEM, endpoint management, and vulnerability scanning tools—because who doesn’t love a good cybersecurity puzzle wrapped in red tape?I act as the tech whisperer between government stakeholders and implementation teams, handling ODC purchasing, navigating approval mazes, and pushing us into virtualization to save hundreds of man-hours (and probably some gray hairs too).But beyond the tech specs, I keep lines of communication open between civilians, contractors, and military contacts—basically translating three different dialects of “urgent” into results. Our team’s now the go-to crew for critical missions, fast solutions, and the occasional IT fire drill.
