Matt Fritz is an individual who has served as a key advisor, problem solver, leader, mentor, innovator, crisis communicator and policy expert for more than two decades in the public and private sector. In addition to his extensive public policy background, he has been responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including budgets, personnel, external affairs and employee development for large and small federal and state agencies, including the US Environmental Protection Agency.Prior to joining US EPA and serving as the senior advisor to the EPA Administrator, Matt held a number of high-level posts in Connecticut state government, including advising Governor M. Jodi Rell on environmental, transportation and public health initiatives Also in his time in Connecticut, Matt managed portfolios that included millions of dollars in capital infrastructure work throughout the state park system and more than $3 billion as Connecticut\'s Recovery Act czar. He has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Connecticut and holds a TS/SCI clearance.
