As a member of the board of trustees for the UK entity, I contribute to setting and maintaining the vision, mission, and values, developing strategy, monitoring policies and performance, and occasionally undertake visits to Uganda to assess implemented programs and assist in strategy development. The role is critical to make certain that the organisation has strong operational systems for; data collection, performance tracking, and impact evaluation - critical for transparency and learning how to improve impact.
