About Matt Ercoli

As a senior Management student at Illinois State University, I have gained valuable skills and experience in compensation, training, interviewing, and employee relations through my current internship at Calamos Investments, a global asset management firm. There, I have worked on a variety of projects in different areas, such as auditing compensation spreadsheets, screening candidates, training interns, and being an HR point of contact for 34 summer interns.In addition to my internship, I have demonstrated my leadership and teamwork abilities in various roles and organizations on campus. I served as the Vice President of Membership at Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, where I oversaw all aspects of membership, from recruitment to pledging to active membership. I also co-coordinated the mentor program at Business Week Team, a student-run organization that organizes events and activities for ISU students. In both of these roles I have gained public speaking and leadership skills. My goal is to help others and develop myself both personally and professionally through exposure to new experiences. I pride myself on my ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to different situations. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to a challenging and rewarding career.
