A lifelong passion for building and design, combined with over 15 years as a Building Systems Engineer, has given me a deep understanding of both the nuts and bolts of construction and the broader context of our modern built environment.As Owner of Detailed Building Solutions for the past 10 years, I lead residential construction projects ranging from custom homes and additions to interior remodels, basement finishes, kitchens, baths, and outdoor living spaces. Every project reflects a commitment to precision, thoughtful design, and clear communication.Before earning my General Contractor license, I spent 15+ years as a Mechanical Designer and Project Manager, contributing to a wide range of building types. My background includes extensive experience in facility operations, system renovations, and large-scale hospitality developments—notably the Westin DIA at Denver International Airport, where I sharpened my skills managing complex relationships between clients, consultants, and contractors.An early adopter of Revit MEP and BIM, I bring a systems-level perspective and use 3D modeling to drive innovation in mechanical design. My approach ensures every system integrates seamlessly into the whole building vision.I hold a B.S. in Industrial Technology Management from Colorado State University, with additional credentials including a Certificate from Carrier’s Technical Development Program. I’m trained in both the International Mechanical Code (IMC) and International Plumbing Code (IPC), and have been honored with CSU’s Quality Quest Improvement Scholarship and placement on the Dean’s List.I’m a proud member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and a Certified Passive House Tradesperson. Previously a member of the following: American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).
