   Creating and integrating a new, flexible, highly available and performant authorization service for the Sprout platform. Led design and development of API, client libraries, and authorization rule DSL. • Managed two engineers for one year • Developed and maintained highly available systems for storing messages from queuing system into various databases, including MySQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch and HBase • Created Spark and Pig jobs to analyze billions of records, preparing reports to be served to customers • Developed RESTful API with team using Elasticsearch to serve social message-level data to customers, allowing arbitrary sorting and aggregation on billions of records • Organized and led cross-team and cross-office meetings to facilitate collaboration and planning between team members in our Chicago and Seattle offices • As part of Data Ingest team, developed and maintained highly available systems to bring data from social networks into the Sprout application via an NSQ queuing system • Architected company-wide migration to new API for Facebook messages, leading cross-company team toward execution before deadline and without loss of customer data
