About Matt Doss
I began my consulting career as an actuarial analyst in the Retirement & Investments division of Mercer and worked there for roughly six years before transferring to Aon Hewitt in early 2017. Over the course of my career, I have gained expertise in a variety of actuarial consulting services including pension plan design & pension risk management strategies, funding valuations, financial accounting valuations, government forms filing, experience analysis studies, and funded status forecasting. In July of 2015, I moved to Charlotte, NC from my hometown of Memphis, TN, where I graduated summa cum laude from The University of Memphis, earning a major in Finance and a minor in Mathematics. In April of 2018, I earned my ASA credentials by becoming an Associate of the Society of Actuaries. In June of 2019, I leveraged the experience gained in the actuarial retirement consulting field and joined Duke Energy\'s HR Department to assist in the management of its retirement programs. In January 2021, I transitioned my consulting career by joining the compensation consulting team where I support businesses that make up a third of the enterprise.
