The G.R.I.T. Fund is a private, 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded for the exclusive purpose of providing access to capital to the SMB community of eastern North Carolina. Medium-term loan sizes range from and are intended to assist SMBs to grow their businesses when and where they need capital. This loan fund is non-traditional, privately funded with no federal or state governmental subsidies or grant dollars and all applicants will be evaluated upon their merits of their business as well as an extreme desire to grow their company and their local community. We are targeting businesses that have struggled to obtain a loan from the traditional banking system, in an effort to become a potential bridge source of capital for the SMB community of eastern North Carolina.
