   Conceive, develop, implement, and integrate new manners of communication to advance SAF’s brand identity and broaden awareness of its programs, priorities, and Mission. • Continuously monitor challenges and emerging issues faced by SAF and conceive, develop, implement, and integrate internal and external communications solutions and strategies to address the challenges and emerging issues. • Conceive, develop, and implement marketing/public relations strategy that allows SAF leadership to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with media, key influencers, and high-level external audiences. • Actively engage, cultivate, and manage media relationships to ensure coverage surrounding SAF’s programs, special events, public announcements, litigation, and other projects. • Collaborate with Executive Director, VP of Development and other necessary team members to review, revise, supplement, and implement fundraising plans. • Oversee day-to-day activities of the communications function, including planning and staff development. • Build and foster Organizational brand, reputation, and rapport within the firearms industry and general public. • Collaborate with internal and external staff and/or outside companies, vendors, etc, to implement SAF’s strategic communications plan.
