About Matt Brown

Just finished character effects work on the main CG character for an upcoming Marvel Studios motion picture. Groomed hair and fur for commercial and episodic work at Zoic Studios after working at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Senior Cloth & Hair TD, at ILM Singapore for four months and at R&H for over 7 years as a TD and Supervisor in the Tech Anim (sometimes known elsewhere as Character FX) department. Spent most of the last two years at R&H working on \"Life of Pi\"​ and was rewarded with an Annie Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement, Character Animation in a Live Action Production.\"Life of Pi\"​ winning the VFX Oscar was the icing on the cake and I\'m proud to have been involved in such a critically acclaimed movie. In the realm of other photorealistic animation, I worked on \"The Incredible Hulk\"​ and both \"Night at the Museum\"​ movies.
