As Head of Partnerships I am responsible for ensuring we maintain excellent working relationships with all Private Medical Insurers (PMI’s) and key third-party providers. I lead on the commercial discussions, ensuring that tariffs are in place across all oncology and diagnostic services at our 14 centres in the UK. I also oversee the negotiation of commercial terms with all third-party suppliers with a value of >£50k. I work closely with the UKLT in order to develop and execute commercial strategies to maximise opportunities for the UK business.

Over 25 years’ experience working across both the Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and independent healthcare markets, much of this time spent working in a senior management role. Sound commercial acumen, with strong communication, negotiation and partnership skills and experience.For the last 14 years, worked for the leading independent oncology provider in the UK with a key focus on driving the commercial strategy and securing pricing arrangements with all PMI’s and third-party providers. With a strong focus on partnership, my team’s strategy remains to deliver value-based solutions to healthcare funders whilst delivering world class cancer care for our patients. The company continues to have a strong growth strategy, with a portfolio of 14 centres across the UK delivering a total annual revenue of c. £80m. Previously worked for one of the top four PMI’s, responsible for a £60m hospital spend, negotiating with key hospital groups, independent and NHS Trusts across the U.K. Led a dedicated team responsible for managing the day-to-day enquiries from the hospital providers, including commercial/aged debt/pre-authorisation queries.
