I am a Community Relations professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, volunteer management, recruiting, internal communications, customer service and community outreach. I’ve also worked in the private sector in sales roles and as a Social Media Manager. I gained experience in the nonprofit community in my previous roles, as the Community Relations Intern/Volunteer for the Kansas City Museum, Recruiter for the American Red Cross, and Employee Engagement Specialist with Goodwill Central Texas. I excel when I can use my skills to bring together community members, partner organizations, corporate sponsors, and elected officials to support the mission of an organization. I’ve organized outreach events, volunteer appreciations and employee social events, while focusing on making sure that volunteers and staff feel valued and recognized for their hard work.
