I\'ve been working for GBBN Architects since 1986 beginning as the first CAD operator. At the time the firm was around 25 people and located in Madisonville, Ohio and Florence, Kentucky. As the firm grew my responsibilities grew and became the CAD Manager while still working on Architectural projects. Since then, the firm has grown to 4 offices and has gone global with the addition of an office in Beijing, China. Core responsibilities include- Architecture of GBBN\'s technology platforms- Research new technologies to support the vision of the firm- Direct the adoption of BIM technologies and Integrated Practice- Provide mobile solutions- Coordinate/manage all communication technologies including Lotus Notes, Intranet, Web- Assist in management of staff recruiting, hiring, forecasting, and placementSpecialties- Computer Aided Facilities Mangement (CAFM) managing over 25 million sf of building space- Communication Technologies- Drafting and Design software- Building Information Modeling- IT Infrastructure Architecture
