As CEO of Oneday I’m on a mission to make the Liverpool City Region the most sustainable in the UK. My career has seen me specialise in delivering concepts and creating strategies to release the social and economic value of places. Places are the background to our lives, so let\'s make them interesting.At Oneday we champion our region to be the best place in the country to grow up, to grow a business, to grow a family. We are a social enterprise and we have recently completed the refurbishment of Bowring Park. GROW at Bowring Park is a physical campus demonstrating how sustainability can be achieved: environmentally, socially and economically.We can help you with: Supporting you to identify and deliver your ESG objectives Fully accredited training courses for your business and teams Partnering with you at the Sustainability Campus to showcase your latest products and initiatives The Grow Campus has 5 elements: Grow: providing support for individual and businesses to grow enterprise, food and families sustainably Learn: At our sustainability Academy with accredited learning programmes Feed: Our food and drink outlets will create a circular farm to fork model to change the way we feed our communities, mowers (fuel) and minds🪴 Nurture: Re-greening our town centres, stations, and streets and expanding the grow events programme Pathways: Creating employment through our Roby Rangers pathway, developing green skills and careersOver the past 25 years I have created spaces for over small, independent and creative businesses to trade from and delivered placemaking consultancy services. I’ve worked with clients ranging from. Everton FC, UK Government to independents, start ups and the third sector. I’ve worked with Local Authorities across the UK to plan and develop over 40 town centres.I was also a Director on the team tasked with opening and establishing the 42-acre Liverpool ONE shopping centre. I have worked at all levels in retail and commercial environments from the shopfloor to senior positions working on some of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe. I obtained ownership and DFBOM responsibility for Bowring Park and Golf Course. So far we have transformed it from a loss making asset and secured investment to date of £5.7m to complete the restoration, create jobs and diversify income streams.
