Directed an international Core Services team, with members spanning the US and Estonia, in the development and management of scalable, mission-critical microservices. These efforts provided essential infrastructure to a range of engineering teams across the organization. Strategized, developed, and rolled out numerous microservices and front-ends such as Role-Based Access Control, user collaboration, and authentication systems. Now managing 10+ services company-wide. Concurrently managed the US Front End team, overseeing the development of user-friendly UI solutions. The team handles 7 different UI applications and a shared component repository. Pioneered the modernization of three existing front-end platforms and successfully led the end-to-end development of a new one. Also executed a strategic migration of an AngularJS application to React, contributing to improved performance and maintainability. Played a crucial role in talent acquisition, onboarding, and training, leading to the creation of high-performing, diverse, and inclusive engineering teams. Designed and maintained project documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer and providing a clear roadmap for future modifications and enhancements. Fostered strong relationships with stakeholders, including other team leads, project managers, and senior leadership, aligning team goals with broader company objectives. Implemented substantial improvements to both code and system architecture, and revamped our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. This led to significant enhancements in code quality, accelerated deployment cycles, and a faster go-to-market strategy.
