1. Director of Safety and Training

   Apr 2021 — Present

   As the director with primary safety responsibility for the education center, I worked with operations teams throughout the organization, led the safety committee of the board of directors, and managed compliance with national safety standards. I developed a workplace health and safety plan, including job hazard analysis for operations-based roles. I authored safety reports on a trimester cycle in addition to yearly Safety Operating Policies and Procedures and Emergency Response Plan documents.Working with the Programs Leadership Team I managed safety and training as the education center relaunched programs after a year of remote learning in 2020. In 2021 I coordinated a comprehensive security access review including hostile intruder and severe weather evacuation procedures. I supervised 3 staff in operations and safety roles and provided training and operational guidance for more than 40 staff members.
