25+ years’ experience of software development in medical technology companies. Currently heading a global team of Product Owners for Treatment Management Applications (TMA). Held positions as Product, People and Project Manager, Chief Engineer, Technical Lead and in Research Departments. Passionate about Agile practices having experienced first-hand the significant increase in efficiency, product quality and employee satisfaction this can bring to an organization. Certified Product Owner, acting as such in distributed global organizations. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Manages Product Owner team members and works with development teams towards efficient backlog burn-down maintaining high product quality, to meet the market commitments and achieving high end-user satisfaction. STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EXECUTION Part of products road-map definitions through interactions with external customers and internal stake holders, resulting in solid road maps through data-driven decisions. Executes road maps by deciding scope of projects, building technical backlogs and defining team compositions. PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS Participated in implementation of SCRUM in development and SAFe in the larger organization. Striving towards making processes light-weight still supporting internal development and external needs. This leads to higher development velocity and faster regulatory approvals. TRAINING Produced course materials and syllabus, conduct training for internal groups and different user categories (from daily users to administrators and C-level executives) as well as presentations during sales processes, trade shows and conferences. This contributes to better understanding of the products and their use in specific environments for current and future users. EXPLORATORY DEVELOPMENT Managed a group of researchers and developers in exploratory developments, bringing forward next generation innovative solutions and products. Holds a Ph.D in Medical Radiation Physics, Stockholm University.
