I provide technical leadership and specialize in building systems, processes, and software.Current engagements:* Software engineer at Apple Inc.* Developer of Open Source SoftwareRecent Work (2006-Present):* Development work on a Cocoa XML editor.* Led the engineering team for Developer Publications. That team is responsible for the single-source publishing system used to create and publish all of Apple\'s developer documentation for Mac OS, iOS, Safari, and iAdJS.* Led the engineering team that built the XML authoring/publishing system which builds http://documentation.apple.com/ at Apple Inc.* Creator of the Flamethrower Shooting Gallery at the 2008 Fire Arts Festival and Burning Man festival.* Software Development Services at Barclays Global Investors.* Major work on anti-spam systems at Technorati, in Q3 and Q4 2005.* Software development consulting services to Doodlelab, most recently on their new ecommerce-enabled version of the My Card Maker web application.I have been designing and developing Internet-based systems since late 1991.I have managed teams of up to 6 people and worked with companies as varied as Barclays Global Investors, Technorati, Adobe, ABM Industries, LSI Logic, TechTV, Tri-Arc Beverages (Snapple) as well as several marketing services companies. I have developed many complex web-based systems such as Employee Benefits Enrollment systems, content management, eCommerce/shopping systems, etc.Specialties: Technical Leadership, leading by example; System Design; Project Management; Programming, System Analysis; Etc.That is, I take responsibility for all aspects of designing and developing technical solutions to complex problems.
