About Matin Zargari
In my 38 year career at Gensler, I’ve had the pleasure of establishing the San Ramon and Oakland offices. We made our footprint in those markets through strong client relationships and innovative design. I most recently became the new Managing Director of the San Jose office. I’m excited to continue to grow our teams and expand our practice, with the main focus, always, on our clients. What excites me about the opportunity to lead the San Jose office is being able to shape the city’s downtown fabric and advance our impact in the community. I am thrilled to be working collaboratively with our office’s leadership to continue to build on our local presence and reputation in Silicon Valley. As a Principal, I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with our clients. In my career, I have worked with some of the world’s most respected companies, helping them create headquarters and workplaces where their employees thrive. I’m proud to say that many clients and teammates I’ve partnered with have become lifelong friends.I was honored to have been the recipient of Bisnow CRE’s “Most Powerful Female Players” honoree award and San Francisco Business Times’ “East Bay Women of Distinction” award. I am a proud alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley, where I received my bachelor’s degree in architecture.Having raised two successful children while advancing my professional career, I feel blessed to have worked at a firm that values work-life balance. It’s important to me to be a role model for my children and a champion of working mothers.
