ABOUT MATILDE ZADIG
Changemaker and social change anthropologist. I\'m fascinated by nonviolence and solidarity. I\'m fueled by feminist and intersectional analysis to deconstruct power structures. I’m a social and behavior change anthropologist from Sweden pursuing my MA in Amsterdam. I\'ve decided to dedicate my life to nonviolent activism. I\'ve had the chance to work with leading actors in this area, such as the Centre for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies (CANVAS) in Belgrade, Serbia, and with digital mobilization together with L\'Accélérateur de la Mobilisation in Paris. I\'ve studied Media Activism and immersed myself in courses building social change leadership during a postgraduate in Social Innovation Management at Amani Institute in Nairobi. I have a BA in Social Anthropology from Stockholm University. I\'ve done field research with feminist activists in Nicaragua and worked with non-accompanied refugee children and youth in Kenya. I have experiences of qualitative and applied research in India, Kenya, and Nicaragua, and I\'ve conducted interviews with activists and with people in vulnerable situations in all of these countries. My background and interest is in strategies and techniques for nonviolent activism, peace and reconciliation, and strategies for communication.
