Plans and executes a holistic CI program and formal TDC program for assigned plant(s).• Oversee all aspects of continuous improvement for the plant organization.• Develops annual CI plans for the plant(s), including QES.• Develops and implements training plans for the plants to promote growth and improvements to the CI process.• Delivers measurable cost savings, tangible quality/safety/environmental/sustainable improvements.• Standardizes measurement metrics including KPI’s, OEE, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, Supply Chain management and other operational functions.• Supports development of capital plans and budgeting as needed to support CI.• Implements KPI’s, OEE, and other measurements across the plants.• Leads regularly scheduled CI meetings with plant leadership to review and track progress.• Trains & educates the plant team members on methodologies of CI to include TPM, STPD, 5S, OEE, Lean, SPC, RCA, 5M5W, etc.• Establishes and promotes 7 philosophies: “One-Team Spirit”, “Zero Defect/Loss Focused”, “STPD”, “Run to Standard”, “Total Employee Involvement”, “High Quality Consumer/Customer oriented” and “Stability before improvement” in the plant.• Assists plant CI teams in sustaining gains achieved with lean efforts and initiatives.• Provides training for production teams and culture change within the organization.• Supports plant management teams in identifying and implementing best practices.• Communicates and influences change in processes and methods.• Works with the leadership to establish recognition and celebration to promote CI involvement.• Actively pursues “best practices” to improve the plant operations.• Supports plants when problems are encountered and escalates the concern when appropriate.
