About Mathsy Kutty
I am a passionate and experienced leader in crafting and executing climate change strategies that create positive social and environmental impacts beyond organizational boundaries. I have been working as the APAC Lead for The Climate Pledge at Amazon since October 2021, where I oversee the regional initiatives and partnerships to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.With more than 18 years of experience in the fields of sustainability, corporate responsibility, and environmental engineering, I have developed and implemented policies, projects, and products that reduce environmental footprint, enhance stakeholder engagement, and increase business value. I have also led industry advocacy and thought leadership on ESG and carbon neutrality, earning recognition and awards from global organizations such as the UN. Prior to joining Amazon, I played a pivotal role in meeting the Infosys Carbon Neutral commitment and co-creating IT solutions that enable sustainability for internal and external clients. I hold a M.Sc. in Environment & Ecology and an Executive Strategy & Leadership certification from IIM Indore, India. I am driven by a vision of creating a greener and more equitable future for everyone.
