ABOUT MATHIEU PERRIN
Over the years, I\'ve learned that most major security and control failures are not caused by missing controls or weak technologies, but by blind spots, competing priorities and decisions made under pressure.Today, I lead Internal Audit and investigations activities within AXA Group Operations, covering IT services delivered to AXA entities, AXA Information Security practices, AXA Group Procurement, Data and Technology innovation as well as finance and large-scale transformation programs. In this role, I work closely with senior executives and operational leaders as a trusted sparring partner on complex, high-impact risk and security topics, where business continuity, regulatory exposure and reputation are at stake.I also manage AXA\'s Central IT Audit team, a team of experienced IT and Security auditors providing Internal Audit services to AXA entities worldwide. Our work spans technology risk, cybersecurity, internal controls and governance, often in sensitive environments requiring sound judgment, discreation, risk-based approach and clear executive communication. Before Joining AXA, I spent 12 years in Information Security and Technology risk roles, working as an Information Security manager, IT forensics specialist and consultant. I supported organizations on global threat and vulnerability assessments, security incident response and enterprise security strategy; gaining hands-on exposure to how incidents emerge, escalate and impact the business. This combination of audit leadership, security expertise and executive-level engagement has shaped my approach to risk and security management: effective leadership is less about enforcing compliance and more about enabling informed decisions, resilience, and trust across the organization.I value clear communication and pragmatic, risk-based approaches, to risk and security, aligned with business objectives. I am particularly interested in leadership roles where Internal Audit, cybersecurity and entreprise risk management play a central role in supporting strategy, transformation and executive decision making.CISA, CISSP
