ABOUT MATHIEU SEGUIN

Mathieu Seguin is an Engineering Enthusiast and current Engineering and Quality Control Director at Artika For Living Inc. With over 13 years of experience in project development, mechanical engineering, and team management, he has become a proven leader with expertise in various technical aspects of product development, quality control, and continuous improvement.In his current role at Artika For Living, Mathieu manages a team of over 13 employees across Canada, China, and Cambodia. He runs quality control, product certification and compliance, R&D, lab testing, technical project management, and continuous improvement teams. Mathieu is also responsible for building and optimizing department processes, implementing engineering and quality control protocols, and overseeing department priorities, budgets, resources, and timelines. He participates in technical executive decisions and manages safety and product development timeline risks. Mathieu also handles suppliers\' technical enquiries, maintains supplier relationships, and leads cross-functional continuous improvement efforts. His expertise in technical aspect of legal litigation is also notable.Before his current role, Mathieu served as a Project Development Manager, where he handled up to 80 projects simultaneously, led product gate meetings with the executive team, and managed project timelines and technical aspects. He developed new product designs, mechanisms, and technology products, aligned multiple departments based on priorities, communicated technical requirements to suppliers, and negotiated product and tooling costs. Mathieu is also proud to have built and maintained the Artika Smart app.Mathieu also worked as a Junior R&D Engineer at TSO3 Inc, where he conducted various mechanical design projects involving heat transfer, fluid flow, and material strength calculations. He designed mechanical and electromechanical systems, determined specifications and drew plans, wrote technical reports and work instructions, and performed various mechanical, electrical and software tests. In addition, he worked as a Foreman (intern) in the Maintenance Department at Kronos Canada, where he managed a multidisciplinary mechanical maintenance team and realized mechanical engineering projects.Mathieu holds a bachelor in mechanical engineering from ETS, Montreal, and a Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt certification from the same institution. He also holds a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Dawson College, Montreal. Mathieu is fluent in English and a native French speaker.
