ABOUT MATHIEU MAROT

I\'m a driven professional with a strong background in medical physics, currently in pursuit of a career as a medical physicist expert in Germany. I recently completed my PhD in the Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology Department at the German Cancer Research Center (Heidelberg), with a focus on proton dosimetry in presence of magnetic fields using Farmer-type ionization chambers.During my doctoral research at DKFZ, I had the privilege of working under the guidance of Prof. Oliver Jäkel. My project involved the study of ionization chamber response in presence of magnetic fields, a topic critical to improving the accuracy of radiation therapy. This work included both experimental measurements conducted at the Heidelberg Ion Beam Therapy Center (HIT) and Monte Carlo simulations (TOPAS).I\'m now expanding my expertise through further education and training to become a medical physicist expert. My training encompasses a wide range of clinical routines, including Quality Assurance, machine commissioning, and treatment planning. I have hands-on experience with treatment techniques such as 3D conformal, Rapid Arc, and Sliding Window (Linac and Halcyon machine from Varian).I\'m passionate about advancing healthcare through cutting-edge technology and research, and I\'m excited to contribute my skills and knowledge to the field of medical physics.
