My role consists of researching and developing new business opportunities throughout the North American Publishing market. I’m constantly looking at different products and services that can prove to be interesting for the corporation. My specialty is developing and supporting new clients across North America either through one-off transactions or, in negotiating contract workings with mid to large size clients (understanding internal processes and implementing brick walling tools to generate long term stable relationships). It’s a constant balancing act through which you need to generate growth while retaining existing customers in the process.I constantly need to inform myself on current events in the industry and stay on top of the competition landscape to help develop strategies that enable us to go after new share of business wallet while keeping a competitive edge and improve our own client retention. This leads me to generator reports, present budgets and new ideas with our own business units to maximize profitability on every project.Achievements:• Won Elite sales developer, summit award titles in 2013 and 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019• Finished over and above plan budget year after year by large margins since entering this role at TC• Rebuilt new share of wallet due to role change inside the company from start to $20 million dollars of sale yearly in the past few years• Successfully overcame a state of attrition in our current business by growing constantly in spite of an unstable economy and diminishing market.
