ABOUT MATHIEU LAVIGNE
After finishing my college degree in mechanical engineering, I moved to Ecuador where I volunteered for a while. This allowed me to learn Spanish, a competence that I used to help immigrants who moved to Quebec City. From January 2010 to April 2019, my wife and I lived in Cambodia. To support our volunteer work there I ran a window cleaning business and worked as a freelance French to English translator and interpreter. As I learned the Cambodian language I also worked as a Cambodian-English translator. Since 2020 I have been working as Cambodian (Khmer) interpreter for various agencies. I am passionate about languages and work very hard to be able to give the most complete and accurate renditions possible.
