ABOUT MATHIAS HOCKEY
My personal brand revolves around four things; trust, hard work, quick learning, and people skills. I pursue my passions with fiery intensity and am very hard to distract from a task once I have started. I also believe that a simple positive attitude can do wonders to a workplace environment and I try to bring my positivity wherever I go. Having had customer facing roles, as well as marketing roles, at an International FI has given me a customer-centric mindset. I have been involved with business my entire life, and as such have developed a love for it. More specifically, I developed a love for marketing. I am also passionate about animal/human rights, as well as the environment. I have been involved with numerous volunteer efforts in these areas, such as with Habitat for Humanity, TD\'s Friends of the Environment Foundation, and outreach programs through my high school and University. I have just graduated from the Marketing Management program at the University of Guelph. For my senior year of high school, I was given a unique opportunity to attend school in Lanciano, at the Canadian College of Italy. It provided me international experience and exposure to culture that many people miss out on. It also gave me an appreciation for the way things are run in Canada.
