Matt is a Portfolio Manager at LL Funds in Philadelphia, where he focuses on structuring, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of asset-backed and specialty finance investments.Prior to LL Funds, Matt was an Executive Director at BlackRock where he was responsible for the origination, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management of a variety of structured and asset-backed private credit transactions. Earlier in his career, Matt worked as a Senior Director at Pacific Life where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing a $2 billion portfolio of private ABF and esoteric assets for Pacific Life’s general account. Matt began his career as a banker at Societe Generale where he had roles in private debt origination and structured finance sales.Matt is a CFA charterholder. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Accounting. He currently resides in Philadelphia.Skilled in Credit Analysis, Asset-Backed Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Fixed Income, Private Placements, Investor Coverage, Portfolio Management, and Financial Advisory.
