Overall responsibility for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management Systems and compliance with applicable legal and other requirements such as ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, National Highways Sector Schemes, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, ISO 3100• Lead on the formulation of Integrated Management System (IMS) through developing and implementing policies and procedures.• Ensure company IMS policy is effectively administered and monitored, and those necessary alterations are made to the policy, IMS objectives, and targets to reflect changes in legislation or company development.• Advise management on relevant changes in HSE legislation, codes of practice, and recognised industry standards.• Organise regular meetings with management and staff at which QHSE issues, objectives, and plans are reviewed and actions for continual improvement developed. • Ensure regular QHSE site inspections and internal audits are carried out to ensure that all staff and working conditions comply with all mandatory legislation and site rules.• Ensure all accidents, incidents, ill health, dangerous occurrences, and other issues concerning safety raised by anyone at work are recorded and investigated such that effective controls can be implemented to help prevent a recurrence. Ensure all reportable injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences are reported to the relevant enforcing authority.• Lead on digitalisation of business by supporting the various business divisions to go digital and thereby improving efficiency and performance.• Enabling departments to deliver safer, faster, and more resource-efficient services through the application of digital processes and data analysis.• Develop QUEST as a central point of internal communication & support business processes enabling continuous learning and development, reporting, document control, data analysis, performance evaluation, and improved scalability.
