ABOUT MATHEW CHEADLE

Yellowbox is a next-generation data center platform specializing in the development of large-scale, behind-the-meter powered campuses. Our mission is to solve the industry’s most pressing challenges—land, power, and scalability—while delivering sustainable, ultra-efficient digital infrastructure to support hyperscale and AI-driven growth.Since 2017 Mathew Cheadle has been an advisor and founder of Thunder Capital Holdings. During this time, he has focused on business development and growth strategy consultations with a variety of companies in multiple industries including manufacturing, renewable energy, LNG, media/PR/marketing, and travel. Mathew has developed growth frameworks employing partnerships and acquisitions for his clients. He uses his network in the capital markets to help his clients fund these initiatives.Prior to his role at Thunder, Mathew spent over 10 years working for Enbridge Inc and Spectra Energy in various strategy, business development, and acquisitions roles, culminating in being responsible for business unit strategy and growth. During his time at Enbridge and Spectra Energy, Mathew secured commercial agreements for pipeline and oil terminal facilities, negotiated several asset acquisitions, and developed numerous successful project initiatives resulting in contracted take-or-pay revenue of over $15 billion. Mathew also spent 10 years in the oil and gas service industry working for National Oilwell Varco (NOV) managing distribution facilities with profit and loss responsibility, customer relationship management, and various functions within the accounting department. Mathew enjoyed working in Alberta, BC, Texas, and California during his tenure with NOV.When not working, you will find Mathew travelling and hiking to experience and photograph wildlife. He is an avid golfer and a voracious reader, always looking for the next big thing.
