I am currently working as an Asset Engineer Building Fabric with Network Rail. In this role, I utilise and further enhance my existing Building Surveying, Project Management, and Asset Management skillsets within the construction, rail, and infrastructure industries.My key responsibilities include:• Manage the maintenance and renewal of region, route, and function Buildings & Civils (B&C) assets to deliver Network Rail’s goals.• Provide engineering expertise on building fabric, geotechnics, and structures maintenance and renewal matters.• Manage the asset stewardship and inspection of the region, route, and function B&C assets in accordance with asset policy and technical strategy, recommending remedial and renewal works and maintain comprehensive asset history records.• Develop and assist with the management of prioritised maintenance and renewal requirements, work banks and plans in accordance with the technical asset management strategy and budget.• Produce maintenance and renewal remits and manage their inclusion in the work bank.• Oversee the development and implementation of schemes, verifying requirements are sufficient, correctly interpreted and delivered.• Provide operational property and route services B&C asset engineering remits for enhancement schemes and support the operational property engineering acceptance of enhancements.
