ABOUT MATHEW ALVES
As the Director of Enterprise Applications and Enterprise Architect at United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited (UFA), I provide strategic direction and leadership to the Business Applications, Application Development, Integration, and Analytics teams. With over 15 years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, system analysis, cloud solution architecture, development, and system administration, I am adept at aligning the Enterprise Applications team to facilitate the overall goals of UFA and deliver value to its customers and members. I have successfully architected and managed the technical implementation of several innovative and integrated solutions for UFA, such as the new UFA CardLock application environment (CardLink Online), a fully real-time ERP integrated ecommerce platform built on SAP Commerce Cloud, and the migration of the UFA SAP landscape to Azure. I also lead the initiative to launch myUFA, a new customer information portal that provides access to account information, invoices, statements, and more. My mission is to enable UFA to modernize and transform its SAP landscape, leverage the cloud agility and performance of Azure, and enhance its digital capabilities and customer experience.
