ABOUT MATEA CERIC
A bright, driven, and enthusiastic transportation professional with experience spanning engineering consulting, research, and teaching. Currently, I am a Project Coordinator within the Transportation & Systems Division at LEA Group, where I contribute to the successful delivery of diverse engineering and planning projects with a focus on meeting client needs, budgets, and schedules.Previously, I worked as a Rail Operations E.I.T. at Boxfish Infrastructure Group, applying data-driven methods to evaluate major Canadian transit projects, including the GO Expansion and Eglinton Crosstown. I also hold a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where I researched big data utilization within infrastructure performance prediction and the integration of of this data within AI and climate change applications.At the core of my career, I am motivated by a commitment to building sustainable and efficient transportation systems that challenge conventions, support climate goals, and improve communities. I am eager to continue growing in roles that allow me to combine technical expertise, innovation, and collaboration to make a lasting impact in the transportation sector.
