Future Biogas is one of the largest producers of biomethane in the UK. Following investment from 3i Infrastructure plc (3iN) and RWE Energy Transition Investments (ETI), Future Biogas is working to reshape the anaerobic digestion industry with its unsubsidised offering – Project Carbon Harvest. This project is helping decarbonise both agriculture and industry by making high-quality, unsubsidised green gases (both biomethane and bio-CO2) from sustainably grown inputs- Commercial negotiation of unsubsidised biomethane offtake and carbon removal contracts under Project Carbon Harvest (supporting the closure of the first of its kind 15 year agreement with AstraZeneca to develop and build a 125 GWh biomethane plant)- Financial support to the core business: financial assessment of upgrades and value enhancement projects and other opportunities- M&A activities: financial modelling and valuation (acquisition of the Heath and Ridge AD plants from Aviva and the 51% of 6 AD sites from JLEN)- Commercial negotiations of gas export and sleeving contracts and import power contracts (PPAs).
