Responsible for coordinating engineering efforts, and providing appropriate technical expertise necessary to effectively meet industrial IT requirements- Represent Project and IT at RFP bid preparation, review / evaluation meetings and conduct site tours required by the bid approval process- Lead construction efforts and provide guidance and coordination with vendors and internal resources- Direct the use or approval of applicable technical architecture, standards and specifications for use on projects and confirm compliance- Responsible for OSP fibre design and execution, including design of complex CWDM long haul infrastructure- Contribute to and review project budget estimations- Review and approve key project detailed plans, work sequencing and resource loading- Review and approve EWPs/CWPs- Provide oversight on contracts and POs with support of engineering contractors and functional teams- Responsible for all necessary QA/QC inspections of field installations to ensure construction is compliant with applicable codes and standards including any Suncor specific practices.
