Led the team that built the EDC (Electronic Data Capture) business and supporting tech platform from the ground up. I was closely involved in shaping the strategy and driving key decisions in engineering. This included overseeing development of the device application, merchant onboarding flows, sales and servicing operations, and logistics. On the payments front, we enabled seamless card and UPI transaction processing across domestic and international networks with robust integrations. The platform also handled chargebacks, multi-system reconciliation, and was built with audit readiness in mind- Wearing dual hat handling software architecture and managing Money Management and Fund Transfer teams that handles all banking interactions and money movement for the company along with Merchant Settlements, Automated Taxation (B2B and B2C), Reconciliation, Book Keeping and Cost/Revenue management- Building Multi Bank capabilities reducing human effort to almost zero by dynamically having multiple integrations and switching based on maintenance downtime of partners or failure rates etc
