ABOUT MASSIMO BREDA
I have a longtime experience in general management, either as operation or support staff. I’ve been working on design, engineering, purchasing, quality, contract management, BPR and innovation projects, R&D business cooperation and high level training programs at a complex shipbuilding industry and I got in relationships with several stakeholders. More than 30 years of distinctive practice, molded my mind and soul to adapt my competences and skills to what is essentially valuable. Since the beginning of my career I have shown initiative and flexibility, therefore I got advantages in dealing with several disciplines: research, innovation, technology knowhow transfer, knowledge and change management. These practices empowered my judgement abilities, developing skills in communication, inspiration, listening, delegating, giving trust, being empathic and assertive. I’ve been always motivated by a native curiosity and frequently aimed to improve my soft skills. Therefore, I’m continuously training myself by reading literature, philosophy, history, politics, science, or attending seminars, etc. I settled how to understand complex environments, to explain them, to manage conflicting demands, to be a proactive problem solver and a creative thinker, to interact with people at all organization level, to have a global mind-set.
