ABOUT MASSIMO QUARTARONE

Graduate in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, I worked in the hospitality cruise industry in the Hotel and F&B department dealing with purchase orders, containers planning, logistic, supply chain, costs and inventory control covering the roles of Inventory Manager and Food & Beverage Director on board the ships. After the experience in the cruise industry, I worked as Corporate Food and Beverage Manager for the italian hotels group Lindbergh Hotels & Resorts being responsible for all the activities related to the function covered (purchasing, suppliers, analysis and menu preparation, budget preparation, personnel selection, F&B service, maintenance of equipment and F&B material, visits and inspections, quality control). After the long working experience in the hospitality industry, now I\'m working for Metro Italia Spa; during the first year, I covered the position of Commercial Manager being responsible for the strategies and activities to improve the sales, develop, retain and acquire new customers according with the company guidelines. In the second year, I covered the position of Area Manager being responsible of the Food Service Delivery and also of the whole customer base of the assigned area in a multichannel commercial vision (delivery, cash & carry and digital). After this experience in the Ho.Re.Ca. sales and commercial sector, I came back to the hospitality cruise industry working for MSC Cruises Procurement and Logistic in the HQ of Genoa as Food & Beverage Operations Manager. I speak and write fluently English, Spanish and Portuguese. I\'m HACCP, USPH, SERVSAFE INTERNATIONAL certified in terms of Food Safety rules and regulations.
