ABOUT MASSIMO MONTANILE

Born in Mirabella Eclano (AV) on 19/4/1961, I graduated in 1983 in Information Sciences with honors from the University of Salerno. For over thirty years I have been in Information Technology and Information Security, and I have gained significant experience in several multinational companies. The working path, initially technical, has been enriched by the encounter with the world of Data Protection. The working debut, as a researcher at the Olivetti R&D laboratories in Ivrea, was focused on communication protocols, operating systems and information security, with the development of \"secure\" solutions for worldwide organizations (in particular located in Israel, in USA) on UNIX platforms. I subsequently held management positions in projects for the Italian Public Administration. After a period of consulting in the military, I worked for several years with one of the major players in the TLC market, holding various positions within the Corporate. Currently I am retired. My last position was Data Protection Officer of Elettronica S.p.A, in the AS & D sector. I have published articles and works on Data Protection, intervening as a speaker in various thematic conferences. Formerly UNI EN ISO 9001 Cepas Lead Auditor, I have obtained the TÜV \"Privacy Officer and Privacy Consultant\" certification and I am actually registered in the TÜV Video Surveillance Register. DPO certified at ECPC Maastricht University. Lead Auditor IEC / ISO 27001 qualified by Cepas / DNV-GL. Delegate Federprivacy for Rome. Fellow of the Italian Institute for Privacy. Co-Founder and President of the Privacy Safe Association. Member of Scientific Committee of Associazione Scientifica per la Sanità Digitale. Member of Advisory board of Associazione Osint Italia. Director of tab edizioni cyber-security section.
