ABOUT MASS ABEDI

Mass comes from Hamburg, Germany, has a Canadian-Persian background and speaks several languages. He has a business degree from LMU, Munich University and a Project Management Certification in Executive Education studies at UBC, University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Mass has a seat on the Board of the Vancouver Opera Association. He is also a past Director of the Rotary Club of Vancouver, member of the Director’s Guild of Canada and the MPPIA. Mass maintains close ties to the German and Persian community in Vancouver BC, naturally, due to his mixed background and produced the German language infotainment show AhornTVTM, weekly aired on OMNI Television. The show got cancelled when Covid-19 pandemic hit BC, but is still on air on his own AbcoFilmCorp Youtube Channel. During his broadcast career Mass got involved in all aspects of LIVE TV Production, no matter sports or show. He was also Project Manager for 1st German Television/ARD during the Olympic Games in 2010 and is still involved as a consultant and/or project manager when it comes to events like the past UEFA EURO SOCCER CUP 2020/2021. Mass did extensive global travelling while in broadcasting and learned from many cultures, always with a thought on how to bring a great city-related-idea also to Vancouver. After all, we don\'t have to reinvent the wheel. Besides leadership, team work and creativity skillsets, Mass got excellent capability in social skills. He is a true people’s person. Currently he is open for any inquiries re World Cup 2026 preparations in North America and other upcoming projects.
