ABOUT MASOUD S BAHRAINI
Masoud is a Senior Research Fellow in Digital Perception and Metrology, with over a decade of experience in both academia and industry. His expertise spans robotics, mechatronics, perception systems, and AI. He has contributed to several high-profile national and international research initiatives, including Horizon 2020 EU-funded PROACT, EPSRC Industrial Robot as a Service project, EPSRC Smart Cobotics Centre, and Collaborative AI for Manufacturing Sustainability (Co-AIMS) Hub. In addition to his academic achievements, he founded a spin-out company from one of his research projects focused on applying AI innovations to create intelligent devices for the mining industry. He is also a Fellowship of Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
