ABOUT MASOUD KAVOOSI
With over six years of work experience in operations research, I am passionate about solving complex and practical problems in transportation and logistics. As an Operations Research Analyst at UPS, I apply my skills in project planning, logistics management, machine learning models and optimization algorithms to optimize the delivery network and reduce costs and emissions. Before joining UPS, I worked as an Operations Research Engineer at HNTB, where I supported the design and implementation of intelligent transportation systems for various clients. I also have a strong academic background, having completed my PhD in Transportation at Florida State University, where I work on different projects for Florida DOT, NSF, and other clients. I am motivated by the mission of enhancing the efficiency, sustainability, and resilience of transportation and logistics systems, and I am eager to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
