I have enjoyed serving as a chief legal counsel, industry advisor, and marketing strategist for more than thirty years. In my current role as a sports and entertainment lawyer with internationally recognized, Am Law 100 firm Blank Rome, I help my clients utilizing the sum of my experience and connecting them with a broad range of extraordinary legal talent within the firm. As an attorney, I draft and negotiate multi-year compensation, sponsorship, NIL, and intellectual property deals on behalf of companies and elite athletes associated with the NBA, NFL, college, high school, and global athletics. I also negotiate live and virtual performance, product endorsement, and licensing agreements on behalf of uniquely talented entertainers, celebrities, influencers, content creators, public and private companies, non-profit organizations, and innovators of new media. Career highlights include: • Managed the brand development and business/legal affairs of pro athletes, coaches, physicians, fitness experts, singers, songwriters, musicians, comedians, actors, models, and influencers. • Produced live and virtual concert fundraisers. • One of the first agents of color to negotiate a player contract for a rookie NFL quarterback drafted in the first round of the league\'s annual college draft. One of few NFL agents to negotiate a multi-year player contract valued over $100 million. • Developed strategies to resolve global immigration barriers for professional athletes, such as securing dual citizenship status and negotiating a team contract for an American WNBA player who led her team to an Israeli League championship. • Designed curriculum for financial advisors and served as industry advisor to wealth management company on trending cultural, legal, and economic issues to help launch its new sports and entertainment division. • Strategic advisor to sports and talent management agencies. • Represented concert promoters and other talent employers with procurement of musical and comedic talent for tours and specialty events. • Designed and taught sports law and sports management courses for high school, business, and law school students for the past fifteen years. • Recognized twice by Sports Illustrated magazine as one of the \"101 Most Influential Minorities in Sports.\"
