As an Outdoor Pool Manager for the City of Lenexa Parks & Recreation Department, I oversee the daily operations of multiple aquatic centers while assisting the Aquatics Supervisors in staff leadership and program coordination. I am responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all, ensuring high-quality service and smooth facility operations. I supervise seasonal staff, including Head Lifeguards, Lifeguards, and Cashiers, while addressing patron concerns and resolving issues as they arise. My responsibilities include managing inventory, monitoring water quality and pool readiness, coordinating with swim and dive teams, and assisting with emergency drills and safety protocols. I also oversee financial operations, such as daily cash handling and reporting. Safety, staff leadership, and a positive patron experience are my top priorities in creating successful and well-run aquatic facilities.
