My role bridges pre-construction estimating with active site cost control, ensuring projects are commercially sound, compliant, and delivered efficiently.Key Responsibilities – Telecoms (HJ Collection Solutions): Preparing competitive tenders and detailed cost plans for utility and groundwork packages. Managing budgets and forecasting cost-to-complete on live projects. Handling subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final account agreements. Developing internal processes to streamline commercial reporting and compliance. Ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Development of overall commercial strategyKey Responsibilities – Property Development (HJ Collection): Producing full tender packages including scopes, take-offs, and pricing schedules. Reviewing consultant and subcontractor returns to ensure best value and compliance. Preparing development finance valuations in line with lender requirements and project drawdowns. Ensuring strict adherence to Building Regulations and planning conditions across all phases. Managing cost plans and BoQs, with regular updates to reflect project changes. Assisting with the coordination between design and delivery teams through stages 1-7.
