I focus on backend services and infrastructure to support the essential controls for login & access to the platform. I love using Kubernetes and a wide variety of services to support our users. As Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Udemy, my focus lies in platform backend and infrastructure, particularly in forging data science workspaces that have empowered hundreds of learners. Sprinkle in some React and Typescript, and I can tie together the whole package. With over three years at Udemy, I have led initiatives to enhance Kubernetes infrastructure, optimizing it for performance and scalability. My role involves extensive collaboration with the Learning & Design team and providing crucial ongoing support for instructors and learners.Previously directing Platform Engineering at conDati, Inc, I honed my skills in AWS microservices, python monoliths, Julia API servers, Kubernetes, and full CI/CD pipeline development. My efforts in leading a security council and integrating security practices contributed to maintaining a uptime. At Udemy, these experiences enable me to drive forward innovations in educational technology, striving to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students and instructors across numerous verticals.On the side, I dabble in film photography, challenge myself with difficult games, hike with my dog, and enjoy spirited drives in my car.
