About Matthew Marzynski
I work on AI transformation from the inside. At Microsoft, we use our own enterprise tenant as Customer Zero. Before new productivity or AI capabilities reach customers, we deploy them internally and run the business on them. I’m a Principal Product Manager who helps ensure that works at scale.I sit between the teams building the tools and the teams operating them globally. When early or AI-forward features roll out, we don’t just look at adoption metrics. We look at behavior. Where do people hesitate? What breaks? What creates real value? Then I turn that signal into clear, actionable feedback for engineering. My role is alignment — between shipping fast and operating safely, between technical ambition and enterprise reality. Especially in AI, the gap between “impressive” and “useful” is wide. I focus on closing it.The other half of my work is business storytelling. When AI meaningfully improves how we work — saving time, reducing friction, improving decisions — I turn those outcomes into clear operating narratives for executives and enterprise customers. Running products on our own business is the readiness story I tell.
