About Marzuq Iqbal
I am currently a third-year biomedical engineering student at UConn who has a passion for research and engineering. I solve problems in creative ways and I am a curious thinker. Through my time at UConn so far and for much of my high school, my experience was centered around research experiences and engineering projects. Through these experiences, I have learned important skills in lab and workspace settings. After working through research experiences at WPI and UConn and working in team-oriented engineering projects at the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science I have found myself shifting focus into research into tissue engineering and nanomedicine. It is part of my exciting new journey as a research assistant at Professor Chen\'s Nanomedicine Lab at UConn.
